In our 40 Days for Life intention, we pray that those who hold life as trivial would realize that we live because God wills it so. Scripture reading: Job 12:9-10. Ever heard that saying. “Living the life of Job?” In the Bible, Job was a man who seemed to have a dark cloud following him everyday. He lived a life full of grief, tribulation, sickness, trial and misfortune. He endured ridicule and judgment from his friends. Everyone gave him advice and questioned his spirituality and his God. Job’s circumstances were bad, but he never lost faith. Job’s friends often doubted God’s sovereignty, or asking God for help. In today’s culture, we deal with this everyday outside this abortion mill. Unfortunately, most mothers and fathers entering the abortion mill have premeditated murder on their mind and they think they are their own god. They think that they know better than God, the One who created them. They become victims of their circumstances.
Job’s response to problems should be ours as well, regardless of what we face. God, in His mercy and wisdom, can redeem. Job never lost faith and trusted in His Creator, and the Lord blessed him! If only these lost and self-serving abortion-bound mothers and their accomplices could remove the scales from their eyes and soften their hardened hearts to see how God has truly blessed their wombs with a gift. God knows their situation. If He can create the stars, the universe, the mountains, then He can deal with an unplanned pregnancy. Trust in Him. He will get you through.
You, Father God, for being the Creator of my life and every life. Please give me
and the society in which I live a deep appreciation for life. Please help us to
set aside our pride and acknowledge that we need You. Show me how I can honor
You today in response to all the blessings You bestow freely. In the Name of
