In our 40 Days intention we pray for the conversion of all who refuse to acknowledge that human life belongs to God. In Jeremiah 1:4-5 it says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Today the premeditated slaughter of the innocents began in the wee hours before we arrived. Abortion-bound mothers were already arriving by 6:00 a.m.; abortionist Yogendra Shah arrived to begin the slaughter at 6:20 a.m. Several late-term mothers were back to finish the grisly procedure on their children.
One of the tragedies of the abortion culture is that life in the womb has been so devalued; that is, unless an assailant takes a gun and shoots that very same being nestled in its mother’s womb. Then, in some states, it’s called MURDER. To embrace the arguments of the pro-death crowd one must conclude that the child in the womb does not even exist, is not there, and has no being. Nothing can be further from the truth. That innocent child is known by God and, as such, has being.
Mary and Cathy sidewalk counseled women this day, unfortunately to no avail; women politely declined offers to save their baby or bring their friend out. New faces joined our team outside this abortion mill to stand and pray for the 40 Days campaign. Some traveled a good distance and brought LIVE babies. They are our best signs. A family of five stopped by the abortion mill to “Thank Angela” and show her the fruits of her labors. We first met Erica outside this abortion mill eight years ago; she was there to kill her son “He has been the joy of my life and we have went on to have two more, all boys,” she said. “Why can’t these women see they are blessings?” she asked. “They are spiritually blind, just like you were years ago until you met us and we were able to convince you to come inside our ultrasound van and view that precious life growing inside your womb.” “I’m so glad I did!” she replied. Thank you Jesus! This testimony encouraged those prayer warriors on the sidewalk surrounding the deathcamp. We handed them a gift bag full of baby supplies and they graciously thanked us.
“Lord, may we find grace from You to affirm the being of every human, and may we labor to make this truth known to the world around us. Amen.”
