10/19/2010- DAY 28

In today’s intention we pray for the conversion of abortionists and abortion advocates. In our 40 Days reflection: God is just. Unfortunately our society has forgotten those immortal words, “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just…” - Thomas Jefferson.

The evil deeds and wrong selfish attitudes of today’s society have led to the cavalier acceptance of abortion on demand and euthanasia. But Jefferson also said, “…His justice cannot sleep forever.”  God is calling us, His people, to seek justice, to encourage the oppressed, and to defend the orphans and widows in society. How many churches do you see doing that? It is a noble calling, but most either stick their heads in the sand or go off to third world countries rather than helping in their own communities where children are dying. Every God-fearing man and woman should be heeding the call without hesitation or reluctance, NO exceptions, no compromise.

God’s word through the prophet Isaiah is as relevant today as it was in the 8th century BC. May God’s grace help us to defend the unborn’s right to life as well as those already born. That is what we do every day as we set up our mission outside these gates of hell where children are scheduled to die daily. There must be an alternative to abortion. Our prayerful steadfast witness has helped with the conversion of many hearts inside and outside this abortion mill. Praise God! This is what stops abortion.

Today as we witnessed to over 15 abortion-bound women during our vigil, two precious babies were saved including two girls from Missouri . We were able to help a save, “Tiffany,” (due any minute to deliver her son) with our last supplies of baby items. We gave her everything we had in the ultrasound van: clothing, diapers, wipes, a car seat, and a bed to name a few. She and her aunt were very grateful for all of our help.

In our prayer we ask God to give us courage and wisdom as we seek to eradicate the evil in society. “Help us to realize that Your Divine Spirit can change hearts and minds so that all human creatures may enjoy the fullness of life You intended for them. In Jesus’ Name.”
