It rained most of the morning during our vigil. Three newcomers joined us on the sidewalk. During our prayer time the weather felt appropriate as I imagined how heavy and broken God’s heart must be to witness so many babies being slaughtered. Some of the clients have been here for two-three days. These are late-term babies. If born in a supportive setting, they would be considered “preemies” and every life-sustaining and resuscitation effort would be feverishly implemented.
Today’s intention and our concentrated prayers are for those workers in the abortion industry- those who have participated in killing unborn children. And yes, those who have raised their swords against unborn babies can drop their swords.
We have personal testimonies. Most recently, a nurse who used to kill babies inside Hope Clinic for a couple of years came out and blindsided me by coming over, hugging me, and whispering in my ear, “Thank you for praying for me. Your witness has been powerful to me. THIS IS MY LAST DAY. I’m going off to do what real nurses should be doing,” and with that “Jen” hugged one more time, walked to her car, and never came back.
Pray for more converts, more Centurions.
