The Tale of Two Wombs

Hosea 13:16 “The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open.”

 

Recently in headlines across our nation was the story of Baby Abby who was stolen from the St. Louis area. http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/09/19/baby.missing/index.html?section=cnn_topstories Abigale Lynn Woods was 7 days old, when a woman broke into her home, slashed her mother’s throat, stabbed her and left her for dead and ran off with this newborn baby. The nation was outraged and frantically searching for this baby. Praise God this baby was found alive and actually turned over by the suspect’s family member who suspected something was not right and it was a happy ending. They caught the alleged “baby-napper” and she is in jail right now.

On that very same day Sept 15 when Baby Abby was stolen, another woman in East St. Louis , Illinois was murdered, her unborn baby was savagely ripped from her body and the mother’s mutilated body was left behind a vacant house in East St. Louis . Her other three children, ages ranging from 7 years to eight months, are still missing. http://www.belleville.com/mld/belleville/15580618.htm                                                                                                                      

The crime investigators said it was a horrific crime scene; this woman was so brutally murdered. The neighbors commented, “How could anyone do that to another person, and rip their baby out of their womb?” We were eerily reminded of another Missouri high-profile case in December of 2004 with similar circumstances of another “Jack-the ripper’ who filleted an eight-month pregnant Bobbi Jo Stinnett’s womb and stole her unborn baby leaving the pregnant woman dead and the baby girl motherless. The alleged perpetrator was caught in this case and is awaiting her fate.

Shocking? I want to tell you that this happens everyday across the nation. Why are we not as outraged? The women in the neighborhood are complaining, “How can people rip out peoples babies? How can they take their babies?” Well, that’s what we have become in America . Absolute savages! What have we been saying? When you sow bloodshed in the womb, you will reap it in the streets. That is exactly what we’re seeing. We’re also seeing two standards here. Why are the babies that are being marched into the local abortion clinic treated less differently than the ones that are in their mothers’ wombs and are being ripped out by criminals?

The hired killers aka “abortionists,” work behind facades called “women’s clinics.”  One in particular is here in the Midwest, notoriously known as the Midwest baby-dumping mill, is the Hope Clinic located in Granite City , Illinois , and late-term babies are being ripped from their mothers’ wombs and brutalized. Where are the TV cameras? Where is the outrage from the community? This is to tell you that no baby is safe in America . The most unsafe place to be in America is in a mother’s womb: wanted or unwanted. The tale of two wombs is that babies that are scheduled to be ripped apart in their mother’s wombs are as precious as those being preyed upon and stolen from their mother’s wombs. There is no difference. We have allowed this to happen. There is no respect for life. We have failed at being our brother’s keeper. We don’t have to worry about the Islamic terrorists destroying our nation; we Americans and the silence from the American Church are doing a fine job overseeing the destruction of over 50 million little Americans in the womb, over the past 33 years. May God have mercy!
