(Botched abortion rushed across street from Hope Clinic to
hospital)
The Michael family remnant stood outside the largest
metro-east newspaper, the Belleville News-Democrat, to
expose the continual cover-up of women being butchered
inside the notorious late-term Hope abortion mill and
nothing is being reported, even though two more lawsuits
have been filed within the past six weeks against Hope
Clinic chop shop and personnel.
Nowadays, you won’t see pictures of women lying on
a kitchen table mutilated in a pool of blood; today they are
lying in an emergency room hours, days, or weeks later full
of fetal parts or infection, hemorrhaging, or all of the
above. We notified and even spoke with the editor of this
McClatchy paper and we were guaranteed that if a lawsuit
was filed against this abortion clinic, they would write the
article.
A Belleville News-Democrat reporter came out and
asked us why we were there. Daniel replied, “Because the
paper would not print the unsafe conditions at Hope Clinic.
We care about women! Why aren’t you reporting the
truth?” Daniel handed her several copies of recently filed
lawsuits of butchered women. This was a heavy traffic area
as many cars were giving us thumbs-up and honks of support
after reading our signs.
Daniel
told reporter Brian Brueggemann, “If women are being
butchered and you won’t report it, then we will let the
public know about the unsafe conditions and the lack of news
coverage by this paper! We will be out here once a week
until you report the truth.”
We have witnessed many ambulances pulling up to this
mill or women being rushed across the street inside the
hospital to patch these botched abortions up and get them
back on the roadway where they are no longer the abortion
mill’s problem.
If this were a puppy mill or horse farm and animals
were being harmed or butchered, it would be on the front
page of the newspaper. Aren’t women important? And when
they trust in supposed professionals who inflict gross
negligence and medical malpractice, shouldn’t the public
be made aware?
Back alley abortions, as the name suggests, happened
in locations (such as in a back alley or other non-medical
facility) before the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing
abortion. These procedures were often performed by people
who weren't medical professionals and were illegal--as were
all abortions--and had a higher chance of death for the
woman undergoing the abortion than is true now, simply
because now it is
legal for abortions to be performed in sanitary environments
by medical
professionals.
Except, according to one recent lawsuit against Hope
Clinic filed by a plaintiff who survived her botched
abortion, it was questionable
personnel who did her late-term abortion; it was not the
physician who signed off. She suffered medical complications
and was taken to a hospital for surgery to stop the
bleeding. Hope personnel agreed to perform the risky
abortion knowing of a serious pre-existing medical condition
and although one abortionist previously refused to
terminate.
When this hemorrhaging woman phoned Hope Clinic scared and
bleeding, they requested her to produce twenty more dollars
that she did not have. So much for compassion.
Hope Clinic has been cited for unsanitary conditions
and had to hire a power cleaning crew in the evening to
fumigate and scrub the torture rooms down. Read: http://smallvictoriesusa.com/Articles/2007/Hope%20Clinic%20Taken%20to%20the%20Cleaners%20Jul%2007.html
Legalizing abortion simply
gave the back-alley physician/butcher permission to put his
shingle on the front door. Abortion remains very much the
same today as it was in 1960, particularly regarding the
first-trimester abortion techniques. The risk now comes from
the huge increase in the sheer numbers of abortions done on
a daily basis.
In
Granite City
it is an assembly line inside this butcher shop when you
watch 40-50 women on average walking inside and only hours
later coming back out with their little brown bags. The
abortionist wants to spend only seven minutes on a first
trimester and twenty minutes on a second/ third trimester. “Once
they are patched up and on the highway, they are no longer
my problem”
In the second lawsuit, this young 17-year-old was
under the impression that professionals were doing her
late-term abortion. They rushed her through and attempted to
dismember her unborn baby and left fetal body parts inside
her uterus which led to fever, bleeding, and her female
organs were full of infection from the decomposing baby. In
order for the hospital and emergency room doctors to save
her life they had to remove all of her female organs. She is
now sterile.
Legal
and safe? That’s a lie. Women don’t choose to be
butchered and left sterile when seeking a legal abortion.
This supposed safety
net legalizing abortion was to ensure women would not
return to unsanitary and unsafe mutilations. It was an
emotionally charged issue. It played on the public’s
sympathy and was a big reason why the Supreme Court fell for
the lie. Coat hanger stigma has not been removed from
society. The back alley abortionist now comes through the
front doors and charges more money.
Why is the media standing at bay and not making the
public aware of the substandard medical treatment and
practices that go on inside these unregulated
abortion mills such as Hope(less)? Over the past 15 years we
have consistently reported these lawsuits and deaths or
abortive women lying in comas. If abortion is legal, should
it not be safe? And where is the outcry from abortion rights
advocates such as NOW, NARAL, Emily’s List, and Refuse
& Resist? I thought they were all about women’s rights
and accessibility to safe birth control/abortion on demand.
The tattoo parlors are better regulated.
If a surgeon in the hospital across the street was
botching his surgeries shouldn’t he be removed from the
operating room? Shouldn’t
the public know? Then why are we allowing the back alley
abortionists to get a free pass to harm one after another
abortion-bound women?
In combating the true back alley abortions bottom
line: Abortion is not good medical care; it’s murder. It
hurts women and goes against the feminist creed. Women
deserve better and society has an obligation to speak out
and protect women against willful injury or death and to
hold those who would negligently or maliciously
inflict…accountable.
