Hope
Abortion Clinic vs. Parents’ Rights
Late-term
chop-shop playing “parent” when it comes to children’s health
Granite
City
’s Underage Abortion Abyss
The
Hope Clinic for Women, the Midwest’s largest, late-term abortion mill
located in
Granite City
,
IL
, filed a lawsuit October 13 in Cook County Circuit Court asking a judge
to prevent the state from enforcing the Parental Notification Law passed
in 1984 and updated in 1995. The law requires that parents be notified
48 hours in advance before an abortion is performed on a girl 17 or
younger.
Why
would this so-called medical facility not want a child’s parents
involved in their serious and evasive medical decisions that could have
serious, detrimental side effects, including sterility and death? Because
it is all about money.
Underage
girls coming from surrounding states such as Missouri, Kansas, Iowa,
Indiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi are this abortion mill’s main
source of revenue, which is why if this law takes effect Hope abortion
mill will be in danger of closing its doors.
Former
workers have informed us that Hope abortion mill is bleeding money right
now. They need money to fight lawsuits that have been filed against them
for gross negligence, malpractice, and medical battery. This is all
public knowledge. If they
don’t have income to cover the lawsuit bleed, they will go broke. That
is why management terminated or retired over 30 employees in the past
eighteen months. They are down to one abortionist, when at one point
they had four. Supply and demand is what keeps them going. Most of their
demand is crossing state lines.
Why
are we allowing Hope abortion mill to trump parental rights when it
comes to our children’s healthcare? And healthcare is a stretch
because there is nothing healthy about dismembering unborn babies. The
nine most common “major” complications of abortion are infection,
excessive bleeding, embolism, ripping or perforation of the uterus,
anesthesia complications, convulsions, hemorrhage, cervical injury, and
endotoxic shock.
Where
is the outrage in
Granite City
when a mother is arrested for trying to intervene, not so much to stop
the abortion of her grandchild, but to be with her underage daughter who
is making life and death decisions and undergoing evasive surgery? Why
is Hope Clinic allowed to play parent for 2-4 hours, and then kick these
girls out into the world for society to deal with? This is wrong! Where
is the outrage?
Do
we leave it up to our 12 year olds to have their appendix taken out? Can
they go to the mall to have their ears pierced without us? NO! Then why
are we allowing them to have female surgery without our consent or even
notice? Because it is all about the money!
