It was just a matter of time: When you live by the sword, you die by the sword. “…for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” Matthew 26:52.  Infamous late-term abortion provider, George Tiller the killer brazenly admitted, “Women need abortion and I will be there to do them,” in the summer of 2001. He has had the support and backing of his church where he died, and many politicians, including former Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius.

Maybe God removed His protective hand from George Tiller when he saw during the recent trial and acquittal in March 2009 that the Kansas courts of law were not going to dispense justice after evidence of performing abortions on viable babies and multiple deaths of women due to abortion complications and late-term abortion in any case, unlike the fetal abnormalities excuse Tiller claimed.  I do believe that God deals a better hand in His own timing than man ever can. Isaiah 55:9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Vigilante justice or modern day “justified homiciders” are no better than what Tiller was paid to do inside his abortion mill. It is a shame that a person would take the law into their own hands which breeds lawlessness, and yet pregnant women take that law into their own hands everyday inside abortion mills. It is appalling that Tiller was cut down inside his very own house of worship, but so, too, it is appalling to witness a church that would embrace infanticide.

Yes, there is outrage and the abortion rights community will play the emotional heartstrings of the American public to their advantage and label all pro-life activists as violent people. But where is the outrage from the same community when it comes to the violence and slaughter of the thousands of unborn babies everyday inside abortion mills?

The AP wire service admitted Tiller’s mill was one of the few that specialize in late-term abortion. So, too, Hope Clinic, located in Granite City , Illinois , is one of the remaining late-term mills and is notoriously known for being the Midwest ’s largest late-term baby dumping mill. Chief abortionist Yogendra Shah does more volume and no parental notification is necessary in Illinois . Mr. Tiller admitted to carrying out the deaths of approximately 60,000 babies. Yogendra Shah has overseen the demise of approximately 400,000 children.

There can only be pity now for George Tiller and his accused murderer, where at least the accused shooter will be tried fairly in a court of law with a jury of his peers under the legal process. Yet, society and authorities fail to recognize the hypocrisy and should be held accountable for their “bloodguilt” in the death of George Tiller and the thousands of innocent babies who are denied that very same legal process before they can speak in their own defense. They are ripped apart in their mother’s wombs. Most pro-life and vocal activists are referred to as “extremists”, but I think dismembering babies is wrong.

Now, you really can picture an “abortionist on trial” in God’s court where Tiller will have to face God’s holy judgment in His courtroom with the tens of thousands of peering little eyes and faces of those precious babies that he chose to premeditatedly murder. Hebrews 10:31 “It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”  But then again, what is worse in God’s eyes: what Tiller did and was paid for? What the accused assassinator did? What the thousands of pastors, churches, and their congregations fail to do and the apathy that consumes most?  

            Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.”
