Small
Victories’ Arrows Saving Lives,
Continuing the Legacy
December 27th, 2010
Foreword by Angela Michael
What
an awesome letter to receive a day after Christmas from a young
lady that was touched by our ministry through one of our 13
arrows. It’s a joy to know that our children are seeing their
parents living out their theology and making it their biography in
a war zone.
One day those shining arrows will come running up over our
backsides when we go down on the barbwire fence fighting valiantly
for the lives of many preborn babies and their mothers in a
culture of Life vs Death.
“Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a
reward from Him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons
born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of
them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their
enemies in the gate.” Psalm 127:3-5
“Hi Angela,
My name is J*****, I am a friend of your daughter *******.
She and I were in Madrigals together in high school and I worked
at ********* for 4 years. She and I went caroling last weekend and
we talked about you and the babies you've brought home recently
and how adorable they are. I mentioned to her that my husband,
K**, and I were considering adopting a little girl in a few years,
and she said I should get in touch with you, because you might be
able to help us out (we have no idea how to even get started.)
I've met you once; you and your daughter and I went swimming at
the pool. I believe I was pregnant at the time with my son C****,
who is now 2.5 years old. We also have a 15 month old, R****.
“I wanted to let you know that I really admire what
you do, and that seeing from a distance through stories from your
daughter encouraged me not to give up my C ****. I was only
in high school at the time that I was pregnant with him,
which I'm sure you understand is a very difficult time
to have a child. My (now) husband and I weren’t sure what to do,
and abortion was something we thought about. But after a few weeks
of talking to your daughter at work, and doing a lot of thinking
(mind you, I never told your daughter I was considering this
option) I decided against it. I couldn’t bear the thought of
murdering the child God had blessed me with. And what a
blessing he is.
“C**** is a wonderful 2.5 year old boy today, and he and
his brother are the absolute light of my life. I think about what
life would have been like without them a lot... missed
opportunities, changed plans... but I really don’t think
I'd be as happy as I am now with my 2 beautiful boys.
I hope your mission is going well, and I just wanted
to let you know that you ARE doing something amazing! I saw
your website today for the first time and it brought a tear to my
eye. God Bless you and your family, and I hope you had a wonderful
Christmas celebrating the most amazing birth yet!
