            A small remnant of gentle Christian warriors helped deliver God’s mail and the truth to this  “seeker-friendly” church this day. Turbulent weather wasn’t far behind. That is how the devil works when he’s angry. This was a big church. One former member told us it was, “full of pride.”

            As you can see on the marquee, most churches claim they are full of Jesus, yet the pastor and the elders allow members of their church to lie and slander Christians doing God’s work.

            Pastor Dave Greiner and others in Chatham Bible Church allow member Tim Keating to publish lies and spread falsehoods against Angela and Daniel Michael and their Small Victories pro-life ministry, even though they know the truth.

            For some time we have made known to Pastor Greiner the problems outside the abortion mill and he has turned a blind eye, just as his initial statement to us outside his church this day confirms: “I am well aware of the letter Mr. Keating wrote and it may not be true, but you shouldn’t be out here ruining my Sunday sermon. Call me later on and we will talk about his un-Christian-like behavior!”

            Jeremiah 5:31 “The prophets prophesy lies, priests rule by their own authority, and My people love it this way…”

            But I think you can tell the quality of this church by the middle finger we received from an attendee going in. You would expect this from the lost, not the saved. We expect to be persecuted and drug through the mud by the abortion industry, not by a church and its leaders claiming to love Jesus. These actions have been a hindrance and distraction in trying to save babies. It is an abomination.

            Pastor Dave is well aware of the 2700 babies saved from abortion and the approximately 4000 mothers Small Victories has helped, but he continues to allow troublemakers in his church to gossip, cause division and strife, and bear false witness against the Michaels in an attempt to destroy their vital ministry, which has been on the streets for over 14 years daily, and a pro-life radio ministry for 6 ½ years. We handed the elders the defaming and slanderous letters to the editor Keating has been publishing.    

            Like most pastors, he doesn’t want to lose that weekly $$$ in the offering. He wants to pacify the flock. Let’s not rock the boat. He looks the other way at sin. What a shame! “Anyone who knows the good they should do and doesn’t do it, sins.” James 4:17. Is it any wonder why we see so many typical “Christians” walking inside the abortion mill to premeditatedly kill their own child and they don’t even blush when confronted with this sin? Most of these types can quote scripture better than we hear being preached. This is the current condition of the American “seeker-friendly” church.

            Why would church people dressed like pro-lifers drive across state lines and cause so much turmoil outside an abortion mill? Because the silence and apathy from their pastor and the lack of fire from their pulpits allows them to. They are full of themselves. Prideful. The Lord calls them “schemers” and “mockers”. They fall under no authority. They can recite scripture, but they don’t practice what they preach. Hypocrites. Matthew 7:5 “You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”
