Small Victories

            Small Victories Ministry is a frontlines pro-life ministry that began operating from Angela’s home with the help of her husband Daniel and their eleven children. Angela is a former obstetrical nurse working in Labor & Delivery. “We turned our family van into a pregnancy center on wheels outside the Hope abortion clinic in Granite City , IL .” Angela said. “We are equipped with an ultrasound machine in our van to show the mothers a picture of their babies auditioning for their lives”.

            For the past 14 ½ years Small Victories has been offering pregnant abortion-minded mothers other options than abortion, and giving women a real choice, trying to save their precious babies, and lifting up the name of Jesus. Since January 2000, 2600 babies have been saved from this abortion mill, and from these mothers 26 babies have been adopted to Christian couples. We help over 800 girls a year. We see approx 40-50 clients a day, five days a week.

We were blessed with a radio ministry in St. Louis for 6 years. The purpose of the radio ministry was to educate and expose the abortion industry to the listeners and reach out to those who have been affected by abortion.

            The Hope abortion Clinic is the largest abortion mill in the Midwest . They are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 6 days a week. They perform between 10,000 and 13,000 abortions a year with price ranges from $400.00 to $2400.00 dollars.        They specialize in late-term abortions and no parental consent is needed for underage pregnant girls in Illinois . So more than half of their

business is from states other than Illinois ; especially Missouri , because you can get an abortion at any age and up to 24 weeks. It is case by case after 24 weeks.

            This abortion mill has been a child-sexual predator’s paradise. We recently helped nab an Arkansas rapist who was repeatedly abusing a 13 yr. old girl, impregnating her and forcing her into the abortion mill to get rid of the evidence.

            The Hope Clinic is the subject of multiple gross-negligence and malpractice lawsuits. One of the more horrific was a woman who suffered a botched abortion December 3^rd, 2003 and who was severely mutilated and her only recourse was an emergency hysterectomy in order to save her life.   

            Our mission is to work from pregnancy through the first year with mother and child, helping both to a stable and healthy life. We serve single parenting women of any age and their families; married pregnant, parenting women who are experiencing poverty or isolation, and adoption minded mothers; or any mom whose dignity as a mother or as a person is at risk.       

            We are literally the last line of defense for these little unborn babies and their mothers. We feel a deep commitment to honor life and to provide assistance to create a stable life for those who are in need of support. Abortion is never an option.

 God has blessed us with the recent adoption of a baby that was spared from this abortion mill. “Children are a gift from God, a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is His reward…” Psalm 127
