Nurse’s Day!! We celebrated by intervening
on behalf of those without a voice in their
mother’s wombs. We stood in the gap building up

came back out and confirmed to Daniel they were
keeping their baby. They accepted a brochure and
drove off the bloody parking lot. Praise God!

Another day of storms and rain. We awoke to
the sad news that our close friends’ son had
lost his battle with lymphoma. The weather fit the
mood. It
was a light killing day. It may be weather
related… Also, whenever a botched abortion or a
lawsuit against Hope(less) makes the headlines,
the killing numbers tend to go down for awhile. In
other words they “lay
low” as not to draw attention to themselves.
They want the public to think they do few
abortions with little to null complications.
Remember the marketing strategy, it’s all in the
packaging.

pro-lifers A
cool and stormy day. It seemed like a cloud opened
up on us as soon as we arrived. The parking lot
was full of mothers inside killing. We stood in
the light rain begging mercy. One mother came back
out and we were able to walk her to her car and
confirm a save. She accepted our literature and
drove back to
Missouri
.
A mother and daughter came back out from
Missouri
and confirmed they were keeping their baby and
drove off the lot. It doubles up our work load
when it rains. We have a hard enough time trying
to hold onto our signs, but we also have to keep
our feet and literature dry. When it rains in this
city with washboard streets, you almost need a
pontoon boat to get around.

Over 230 pro-lifers including several
youth groups and 8 Illinois churches represented,
Christian Motorcyclist Association, 4 pastors, 1
local pastor, 1 priest, 1 deacon
One day before Mother’s Day and God’s
church showed up to stand in the gap for His
babies and their mothers. We were especially
honoring motherhood this day. The youth groups
worked hard all week and wrote short messages of
love to attach to the flowers we offered to every
mother walking inside to kill. “Mom,
you are my hope for life! Love, your baby.”
The saints poured out of the buses and
surrounded the abortion mill singing God’s
praises. They were joined by area youth groups and
leaders. It was an awesome sight. One of the youth
group’s high school had honored us with a baby
shower and blessed us with an over-sized bag full
of baby supplies and gifts to help the mothers and
their babies.
After praise and worship ended, the gentle
Christian prayer warriors did a
Jericho
March around this altar of Baal. But what was so
significant was we noticed throughout the praise
and worship no mothers were entering this death
house. The last time the churches showed up the
same thing happened. No mothers were going inside
to kill during the singing. PTL! More cars drove
by and gave us honks of support.
Pastor Todd led the charge and took the
proclaiming line over to the main thoroughfare,
but stopped, gathered the troops, introduced our
ministry, and asked us to speak to the new members
that came this day. We also introduced the local
pastor and all the elders and pastors surrounded
us and prayed for our ministry and the local
pastor. We shared the latest picture of our newest
addition with all and her testimony briefly.
The church groups then spread out and lined
themselves along this busy intersection in this
City of
Slaughter
. What a sight! The inhabitants of this town had
to take notice of the abomination in their fair
city. They held signs that read “Life
is precious” and “I
want to live” for the passer-bys to see.
As I walked back to my post, I noticed the
mother and daughter who went in earlier. They were
coming back out. I offered the blue flower I held
to the mother and asked if we could help. She
looked at me and said, “You’re
not the screamers are you?” “No,” I
replied. “They
are not a part of our ministry. We are here to
help women with another choice other than
aborting.” She looked at her daughter and
said,
“We’re not going to kill...we’re keeping the
baby.” She told us she was 20
weeks pregnant, but the clinic didn’t show
her anything. I offered to show them a picture on
the ultrasound. They hesitated, but explained they
just wanted to get away from this place so she
could be with her other child. But she would
follow-up with her regular doctor. They accepted
our brochure to stay in contact for a follow-up
ultrasound at some point.
The mom shared with me that she was glad
her daughter didn’t go through with the
abortion. Her mother stated, “I
almost aborted her, but I’m glad I didn’t.”
She then hugged us and I told her what a blessing
her daughter was and she agreed. She thanked us
and took the flower as I said, “Happy
Mother’s Day moms.” They got in their and
drove back towards the interstate.
Pastors Todd and Steve brought the
proclaimers back to the mill where, before they
boarded buses, we shared the saves and their
testimonies. The Christian Motorcyclist
Association gathered on their bikes and even let
the motorcycle Momma pose holding her baby’s
picture. AWESOME!
We rounded the corner after watching the
buses head out and noticed a Hispanic couple
walking out. We greeted them and their eyes were
drawn to the picture of the baby I was holding.
They didn’t kill their baby. They accepted our
literature and left.
We walked the youth group to their cars and
pretty soon there were only a few remaining on the
sidewalk.
Mother’s Day weekend was off to a good
start!
Approx.
131 babies killed. 7 babies saved. Approx. 238
pro-lifers cared enough to show up throughout the
week’s massacre. 2744 saves since January 2000
and 26 babies have been adopted through Small
Victories!
Live
your life in such a way that when your feet hit
the floor in the morning, Satan shudders and says,
“Oh no, she’s awake!”
Thanks Chris, a good friend and supporter
of our mission outside the gates of hell in
Granite City
. If you’re living pretty comfortable and things
are going good, maybe you’re not much of a
threat to the devil, therefore you won’t be a
target.
My good friend in CT made the comment also,
she has never seen a ministry going through so
much persecution. “Maybe
your ministry is so effective and hitting the
devil’s pockets that he is unleashing all kinds
of fury against you to try and stop you.”
That’s when you know you’re on track against
the enemy. Satan will use anyone and everything to
try and defeat you. He wants to see you dry up and
die. But our God is bigger. He calls us to afflict
the comfortable and to comfort the afflicted.
It’s during the storms that will
determine the caliber of person you are. It
separates the sheep from the goats. During the
storm you can tell who’s playing church and who
knows what church is all about. You’ll be able
to identify the carnal Christians or the mouthy
ones. I like to call them the “catfish
Christians”, all mouth and a thimble-full of
guts. They can recite the scriptures forwards and
backwards with their eyes closed. But on the day
of the storms, they fold and run.
What good is it to listen to all these
teaching tapes and church twice a week only to
come home and gossip and devise schemes or bear a
false witness against someone? It makes you wonder
what kind of foundation their house is built on.
Ask yourselves three things: Is
it glorifying the Lord?
Is it saving babies? Is it making money and a name
off of someone else’s ministry?
It’s time to move on and move up
furthering the Lord’s
Kingdom. God will deal with those who come
with a rosary or Bible in one hand and a dagger in
the other. Once you realize the distractions Satan
uses to neutralize you, you will realize the full
power and anointing the Lord has on you and the
mission He has set before you. The power of God is
mightier than all the combined forces of the
devil. As a believer, that mighty power lies
within us. Every time we show up outside these
gates we have the victory. We
win! Now you understand our ministry title.
Even though in God’s eyes they are HUGE
victories.
