10/23/2009                                                     DAY 31

“I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139. This scripture must be hard to hear for those who work in this bloody business, and especially the real healthcare workers who actually assist the abortionist with his tools in destroying tiny human bodies in the womb. I surmise that is why we constantly witness a succession of employees quitting at this abortion mill.

It has to be hard to look at and count body parts day after day, tagged and bagged for medical research and cosmetic firms that are picked up weekly from this particular abortion mill. Or else they unfortunately self medicate themselves to stick with this bloody business. That is why it has been such a blessing to be a Window to the Womb with our vital ministry; to be able to show a mother the tiny life growing and knit in her womb inside our ultrasound van. It’s truly a work of art.

We try and convey this beautiful message to abortion-bound mothers each morning as they stand in line to sign out the death warrants on their unborn children. Some take us up on our offer. Unfortunately, some go through with the abortion, but they cannot say they were never offered another way out of the situation. We tried.

Today in the cold drizzle, we intercepted many mothers and their accomplices, but to no avail. Most of their hearts were hardened. A spirit of selfishness and self-centeredness came across as we tried to intervene on behalf of their innocent children.

God, help to remove the scales off their eyes to see and appreciate the beauty in Your creations. Every one of our fellow human beings is ‘fearfully and wonderfully made.’ Like a tapestry, every detail is intimately known, and displays God’s artistic majesty. In Jesus’ name we pray.
