Onsite ultrasound
Outside the ab mill in GC this
afternoon/eve. We quickly set up our ultrasound outreach to those
arriving. Once again, it was COLD. The guard wouldn't let them in as
Katie Luczecky(nurse) was still bringing party supplies inside for
either a birthday or Christmas party this day. This gave us ample
time to gently offer them on the spot help, and another way to cope
with their situation. Many were obviously late term. The
Colorado couple were young and we were flabbergasted their car plate
had "respect life" as their motto.
We begged, we
pleaded..by the grace of God, two young women came back out at
different times and confirmed they were keeping their babies. One
from Missouri, one from Illinois. The lady in black car thanked us
for reminding her "how precious life is". You
notice and become very observant in the silence and the stark,
coldness. I turned to the sounds of clicking and a small child. I
viewed a person wrapped in scarves balancing a toddler on their
shoulders and trying to push a newborn on this cold day in a broken
stroller whose wheels were about to come off. The metal was scraping
the concrete. I asked Daniel if we had a stroller in the van I could
give them. He said "No". I looked over
again, she was struggling to get to the corner ahead of us. I told
both Daniel and Judy, we got to buy her one. I took off running and
yelling, “Ma'am ,..sir?.. as I wasn't sure they were
male or female being all bundled up.
She stopped when I got up
to her .I inquired, "If I could buy her a stroller. I
noticed you were struggling with this one ".. I then
eyed the precious lil girl on her shoulders. She was bundled up and
smiled at me when I said, "Hi cutie". Judy
was standing with us now, she offered to go to a store and get one.
She passed a resale store on her way to the ab mill. The lady
gushed. "Oh my God, that would be wonderful..she
went on to say, “I was praying Jesus , please help me, as I
pushed and held the other baby"..she pointed to the
house on the corner "This is where I live".
Judy helped her get both babies and the broken stroller inside as I
went to the van to get some funds. Fifteen minutes later Judy was
back with a double stroller, in pretty good shape.
"Amanda" was thrilled. Judy told her our schedule outside
the ab mill if there is anything else we can help her and her babies
with. Back across the street in front of the ab mill we kept gently
offering late arrivals another way, when Judy came back over smiling
and repeating what the grateful mother said, "Didn't you
hear her Angela?” She said she kept praying, “Jesus
help me,” and this blonde haired lady came across the
street and helped her. “That's God, Judy!”
It was a "goose
bump" moment, literally we were freezing. Later, we closed in
prayer, Judy left, we were loading up when a young girl came over to
us and asked to see an ultrasound. We didn't have relief today, or
second shift of volunteers, so I pleaded with my driver, “it
will only take a few minutes,” I helped him unload the
signs, ect. She came inside and went over preliminaries..I scanned
and to her surprise, she met her 8 wk old baby auditioning
for its young life. She saw the little heartbeat flashing on the
screen. "You’re not going to keep that appointment are
you?" I then told her how “Jesus had a plan for
her life and her innocent baby's life" ..she said, "No,
Ma'am, I got to see my baby", She thanked us and felt
bad for making us unload, but I told her "this was a
divine appointment". This is what Jesus would do. He
sought not for Himself, but for others. He went into the streets to
the lost and the needy. He was reviled and cursed by many, but
He gave us the greatest gift, the
gift of life. This is the true meaning of Christmas..the first gift
to the world was, a baby. His name was Jesus.
Wednesday-
6 late term babies returned form the after/evening before to be
dismembered.

Friday-approx
14 babies killed MO.IN,IL. 1 baby saved: months earlier
Uneventful killing day. Later that evening we would meet another
"fruits of our ministry's labors" so to say. Daniel
was outside and a car that had been circling the neighborhood
stopped and rolled their window down. The man introduce himself and
announced he and his daughter were in town and trying to
locate us. He rolled the rear window down and asked Daniel to look
inside and to his surprise there were two young children. The driver
then said, "you met us outside the abortion clinic in
Granite City and tried talking us out of the abortion , my daughter
already had one , didn't need another..well now we have two , one's
as precious as the other, we didn't go through with it!"
Daniel just grinned, one little boy was about 3 yrs old and
the youngest, less than a year. Both were adorable. "We
just wanted to find you and your wife and thank you".
Daniel shook his hand and told the mother of the boys to
contact us if there is anything we can do to help you. The man said
, "You already did"., and drove off into the
night.

RE GIFTING
Let us always remember the reason for this
magical season, the birth of our Savior, Jesus. The first gift to
the world. He came to love, to serve, to renew, to heal and to save.
May we never forget the price He paid for our sins. Let us give the
gift of our lives to Jesus, this day and always.:)
Be
encouraged,
~Angela
